Jeff Lowrance "aka" Alan Carpenter: Arrested

According to information received, Jeff Lowrance, former CEO of First Capital Savings and Loan has been arrested.

Authorities in Lima, Peru reportedly arrested Lowrance on February 6, 2011. Lowrance scammed hundreds of people out of millions of dollars during his currency trading ponzi scheme from 2004 - 2008.

In 2009, due to pressure from the US~Observer and former clients, Lowrance fled from Houston, Texas to Peru attempting to hide from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). It was reported that Lowrance was conducting his ponzi scheme in Peru, under the alias of Alan Carpenter until his recent arrest by Peruvian authorities.

Lowrance is currenty awaiting extradition back to the United States.
